BS EN 62841-2-10 is a part of the IEC 62841 multi-series that discusses the safety of electric motor-operated hand-held tools. This European standard helps its users to produce more reliable and secure hand-held mixers to reduce the risk of accidents while using them. 

BS EN 62841-2-10 applies to hand-held mixers. Mixers are not considered to be tools with a liquid system. 

BS EN 62841-2-10 is to be used in conjunction with BS EN 62841-1. 

Note 1: BS EN 62841-2-10 does not apply to drills and impact drills, even if they can be used as a mixer.
