BS EN 50193 discusses electric instantaneous water heaters. BS EN 501931 is the first part of BS EN 50193 multi-series. BS EN 501931 discusses methods for measuring the performance of electric instantaneous water heaters. BS EN 501931 specifies terms, definitions, and measurement methods for the assessment of energy efficiency. 

BS EN 501931 applies to electric instantaneous water heaters for domestic hot water heating for households and similar applications, which heat up to temperatures below boiling point.
