What’s changed since the last update?
BS EN 13523-21:2017 supersedes BS EN 1352321:2010. BS EN 13523-21:2017 includes some technical changes with respect to BS EN 1352321:2010. These include:
- A “terms and definitions” clause has been added containing all terms and definitions from EN ISO 4628-8 and a definition for edge
- “Corrosion” and “delamination” was changed to “corroded area” and “delaminated area”, where appropriate
- The first inspection after 6 months was deleted
- The inspection of defects using a × 10 magnification was amended
- A reference to EN ISO 4628-8 was amended for evaluation of delamination and corrosion around the scribe
