What is BS EN 459-2 about?
BS EN 459-2 is the second part of the multi-series of European standard on ‘Building lime’.
BS EN 459-2 specifies the test methods for all building limes covered by EN 459-1. They can also be applied to other lime materials, the standards for which call up these methods.

- Change of the order of methods for determination of CO2
- Phenolphthalein as indicator replaced by thymolphthalein
- Amendments for the determination of available lime and reactivity
