BS EN 13108-6 discusses material specifications of bituminous mixtures. BS EN 13108-6 specifies requirements for mixtures of the mixed group mastic asphalt for use on roads, airfields, and other trafficked areas. Mastic asphalt is used for surface courses, binder courses, protection layers, and inter-layers for bridges, tunnels, and troughs.

Note1: The mixtures of the mixed group Mastic Asphalt are produced on the basis of hot bitumen. Mixtures utilizing bitumen emulsion and bituminous materials based on in situ recycling are not covered by BS EN 13108-6.

- Additional optional sieves for the characterization of the grading
- For several properties additional categories are introduced
- Possibility to define specific conditions in documents related to the application of the product
- CPR reference and new Annex ZA according to CPR rules
