What is BS EN 16789Ambient air about? 

BS EN 16789 applies to the determination of the impact of ground-level ozone on a bioindicator plant species. 

BS EN 16789 specifies the procedure for setting-up and use of a system designed to expose these plants to ambient air. It also describes the procedure for leaf injury assessment. 

BS EN 16789 applies to the outside atmosphere in all environments. BS EN 16789 does not apply to the assessment of air quality inside buildings. 

The method described in BS EN 16789 does not replace modelling or physicochemical methods of direct measurement of air pollutants.
