BS EN 546-1:2006 supersedes BS EN 546-1:1997 which is withdrawn.
BS EN 546-1:2006 includes some technical changes with respect to BS EN 546-1:1997. These include:
- Clause 3: deletion of subclauses 3.1 to 3.6. Reference to EN 12258-1, and definition of converter foil, consumer/household foil, and container foil added
- Clause 4: title is changed, and wording is clarified
- subclauses 5.2, 6.1.1, and 6.2.1: text amended
