This standard specifies the dimensions, tolerances, required characteristics and the mass of an AWG 24 shielded quad cable, type KD, intended for high speed (100 Mbit/s) full duplex Ethernet networks.

This cable is laser markable, this marking satisfies the requirements of EN 3838.
