What is BS EN 2825 - Smoke density from burning of non metals in aerospace about?

BS EN 2825 defines a test method for the determination of the smoke density due to pyrolytic decomposition of solid materials and composite materials of up to 25 mm in thickness under the influence of radiant heat only or with the simultaneous flame application.
