What is BS EN 1245 - Adhesives about?
BS EN 1245 specifies a method for the determination by electrometry of the pH of adhesives, their basic constituents and related products using a pH meter equipped with a glass and silver reference combined electrode.
BS EN 1245 is applicable to products supplied in an aqueous medium, and of known concentration, and to products which can be dissolved, dispersed or suspended in water.
BS EN 1245 is not applicable to adhesives that react with water.
NOTE The accuracy of the method decreases at pH values above 11.
Who is BS EN 1245- Adhesives for?
BS EN 1245on Adhesives is useful for:
- Civil engineers
- Chemical Engineers
- Researchers and scientists
- Interior designers
- Sculptor of timber structure
Why should you use BS EN 1245 - Adhesives?
Any substance that is capable of holding materials together in a functional manner by a surface attachment that resists separation is known as adhesives.
BS EN 1245 can help in conducting tests to determine the electrometry of the pH of adhesives. These test methods assess the sustainability of these adhesives in different climatic conditions.
A world-class adhesive standard, BS EN 1245 provides a step-by-step guide to ensure superior quality of adhesives by detecting electrometry of the pH of adhesives and offers a cost-effective, sustainable solution to the adhesive industry.
